The Back of Will Hart's book is a colorful summary.
As one can tell from his book and website, Will Hart is a naturalist who has long pondered the deepest mysteries of life. Will has studied many of the enigmas of evolution and has reached the unexpected conclusion that extraterrestrial beings are affecting evolution, mostly thru catastrophes and aiding human cultural evolution. Both Will and I have found that many of the naive explanations of science as well as religion are not supported by the facts. This is especially true about creation and evolution. Hart spends the first 5 chapters on biological evolution and creation. His criticism of scientific myths such as random mutations and blind evolution is effective, but I am much more interested in his insights into the enigmas of cultural evolution.
Starting in the Introduction, Will Hart is "puzzled and awestruck by the wonderful and mysterious achievements that the very early civilizations left behind in the sands of Egypt and Mesopotamia, in the highlands of Peru and the jungles of Mexico, in the Indus River Valley and on the plains of central China.. Beginning in 8000 B.C.E, followed by a major development thrust between 3500 B.C.E. and 1500 B.C.E., there was a sudden explosion of innovation in these distinct (and very separate) areas of the planet."
After millions of years, homo-sapiens becomes civilized in only 6500 years. Hart thinks that the existence of divine kings, pyramids and other stone monuments, and the domestication of plants and animals in most early civilizations is not a coincidence.
Hart the naturalist is at his best in reviewing the domestication of plants and animals. Most of the worldwide domestication of plants and animals occurred since 10,000 BC. Hart says that all domestic dogs descended from the wolf, canis lupis. Now the domestication of plants and animals is very very difficult. Modern man has not been able to domesticate the wolf! Similarly, the amount of time and effort required to domesticate wheat, barley and rice is more than ancient clans of hunter-gathers could endure. How did the chief hide the all important seeds from starving children during hundreds of bad winters? Also, grain is an unlikely food source for primates and monkeys Read Hart's book.
A New Age Philosophy needs a good discussion of the Ages of Man and catastrophes. Hart did not disappoint me here. Ch.20 is Ages of Man, Ch. 21 is Cycles of Catastrophe and Ch. 22 is The End Times. Will Hart is one the few New Age authors to attribute bronze age disasters to extra-terrestrial beings, usually called gods. Around 2300 BC, a large number of the civilizations of the world collapsed, including the Old Kingdom of Egypt, the best of the many Egyptian kingdoms. Civilizations in China, India, Anatolia, Greece, and Israel also collapsed at this time. A thousand years later, most of the same regions collapsed again, including the historically important eastern Mediterranean civilizations.
Hart has uncovered a rare gem here, A few biblical archaeologists think that Yahweh, the god of Abraham and Moses may have destroyed evil cities around Israel, as recorded in the Sodom and Gomorrah story. See my book and the above essay on the dark Mayan gods of destruction. As for the end times, if extraterrestrial beings or gods guided the Mayans with their accurate calendars, 2012 AD is a likely end time. Did you notice that the US is getting ready to blow a hole into an extra-terrestrial comet?

3. Who Built the Moon? by C. Knight and A. Butler
Ever since American Astronauts brought home moon rocks, many scientists have been convinced that the moon was made out of a large hunk of the earth's crust over 4 billion years ago.
Many New Age authors from England are worth reading, including Christopher Knight and Alan Butler. Their controversial book “Who Built the Moon” provides scientific and logical arguments that the Moon is too well engineered to be a lucky accident. Analysis of Moon rocks indicates that the Moon was formed out of the Earth’s crust 4.5 billion years ago. The Moon is relatively large, lightweight, has a low orbit and is unique in the Solar System. The authors present convincing evidence that not only is the Moon more unique than the Sun or the Earth in many respects, it is one of the necessary conditions for the evolution of intelligent life. Who Built the Moon?
4. "Rare Earth: Why Complex Life is Uncommon in the Universe" by P. Ward and D. Bromlee
The authors present a state of the art review of the many reasons why the Earth is a very rare place in the universe to support advanced life, like plants and mammals. Their data and many of their arguments support my theory that there are many signs of extraterrestrial influences during the history of life on Earth. Book extracts are available here.
5. “The Threat: Revealing the Secret Alien Agenda” by David M Jacobs, PH.D
David Jacobs is the world’s foremost academic expert on UFOs and the all important subject of alien abductions. Based on more than 700 hypnotic-regression interviews with alien abductees and a Roper survey of 6000 adults, “The Threat” reveals why the ETs are here and what they want. In a direct and authoritative challenge to researchers who believe the abduction phenomenon is essentially benevolent and spiritually uplifting, Jacobs proves that there is a more disturbing plan well underway, with massive destruction followed by a new Earth dominated by ETs and new humanoid hybrids. Following are extracts from his book which may change your world view like it did mine. (Please click here to view the extracts from David Jacob's "the Threat")
POSTSCRIPT
Jacobs is more realistic about “The Change” than Harvard Psychiatrist John Mack and most New Age scholars. We need to learn more about the ETs plans, so I would like to offer you a much broader view than just the last 50 years in the USA. As described in my book and website, I have been studying signs of ET activity over millions of years. Since the mysterious demise of the Neanderthals and Homo erectus before the first Mayan Age of Man, many signs correlate well with the Mayan Ages of Man which will end in 2012. For Example, The Mayan Third Age of Man starting on 11,131 BC is the time when many extraterrestrial missiles, probably asteroids, hit the north Polar Regions and caused the last mass extinction on Earth. Many large and ferocious animals that walked the northern hemisphere during the Second Mayan Age of Man are now extinct, including Saber-tooth tigers, Scinter-tooth tigers, mammoths, mastodons, and giant bears. Most large mammals in North America were destroyed early in the Third Age, including Clovis man. Although the cause of this mass extinction is still controversial, most scientists agree that it hurt big game hunters and helped shepherds and farmers. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
6. “The Cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes: Flood, Fire, and Famine in the History of Civilization” by Richard Firestone et. al.
Richard Firestone and his team of scientists present new evidence about a series of prehistoric cosmic events that explain why the last Ice Age ended so abruptly. A shower of asteroids hit the northern hemisphere around 11,000 BC and caused many primary and secondary craters, especially in North America. Massive floods, firestorms, and showers of debris killed most of the large mammals in the northern hemisphere, including the mammoths and Clovis man. The authors think we are entering a new cycle of increased cosmic danger and a new cycle of extinctions. This book is the most scientific investigation of a dozen books on the subject, most finding extraterrestrial causes of a major catastrophe. Most anthropologists still believe that tens of thousands of Clovis big game hunters killed tens of millions of large mammals causing their extinction. Believers in this “overkill theory” as well as New Age Intelligent Design advocates should read this book. I am impressed by the way that mass extinctions are used to improve the quality and quantity of life in Europe and Asia. I may be the first to note the extreme importance of bottlenecks like Egypt and the Fertile Crescent which separate Africa from Europe and Asia following this last mass extinction. Note that humans and large mammals in sub-Saharan Africa were spared this mass extinction and perhaps some benevolent genetic and cultural influences.
